Lush cosmetics summer 2015 collection blogger event part two

Hi guys and dolls! 💜💜

I thought I would do this post in two halfs as it was more or less in two when we went to the event! So after we had made out bubble bars (well attempted in my case) we were shown, given demo's & passed around some of the new products & the oxford exclusives that had come to the store.

Hen harriers bath bomb - This amazing bath bomb was launched to raise money for these beautiful birds. proceeds of which will go to the Hen Harrier LIFE+ Project to help fund satellite tagging operations from next season! Satellite tagging allows to learn more about their ecology and to find out where they might be at risk.
The comforter, (shower cream) beautiful (shower gel) & yuzu and cocoa (shower cream) Oh my goodness they ALL smell so good! The comforter is a mixture of bergamot oil & cassis absolute. Really lovely berry smell. The beautiful one has myrrh gum powder and apricot it's like it's name! A beautiful smell! Has gold glimmer in it too, super pretty! Finally yuzu and cocoa, I literally wanted to eat it, it smelled so good! Chocolate oranges and cocoa mmmmm!
The comforter shower cream.
Beautiful shower gel.
Yuzu and cocoa shower cream.
Life's a beach body scrub powder - This really took me by surprise! With a mixture of 40% sea salt & 40% sand it screamed beach. The smell just reminded me of past holidays instantly. It is such a good scrub, we had a good try of this and it didn't disappoint at all! Will be purchasing this in the near future!
Just looks exactly like you have picked it straight from a beach!!
Salted coconut - We were treated to a lovely hand treatment by the team, using this product first. A creamy coconut and sea salt salt exfoliant or can be used on either wet or dry hands, (dry for a more rougher cleanse) sea salt as we know Is a natural exfoliator so it was perfect to have as an ingredient for this hand scrub.
Full of natural minerals to cleanse and restore the skin, it's safe to say my hands felt as if they had been brought to life. Th coconut oil is fantastic for hydrating the skin but it didn't leave my hands sticky or slimy as you would expect given that it has oils in.

Bath bombs.
The experimenter -

Frozen bath bomb! I was really looking forward to watching the demo of this after seeing videos on YouTube. Safe to say this didn't disappoint me! With the mixture of grapefruit & Tunisian neroli the smell is fantastic.

The water is just mesmerising to look at
"Do you wanna build a snowmannn?!" Teehee yes the frozen songs came to mind! £3.95p
Yoga bath bomb - This slow fizzer has the most beautiful mixture of colours and lots of glitter. To be honest, my first impression of the actual bath bomb, I didn't think i would like it very much, but after seeing it it action it's safe to say my opinion of a product hasn't changed so fast in my life! A beautiful mixture of cours and smells, this slow fizzer is perfect for one of them baths you know you're going to stay in for as long as possible.

The relaxing scents of olibanum and ho wood just adds to the perfect relaxation.
I highly recommend you to try this bath bomb if you're a fan of long unwinding baths!

Intergalactic bath bomb - Wow wow wow! Straight away just the name and the sight of this bath bomb just called to me.

It has a suprising smell of refreshing peppermint, beautiful neon colours and even popping candy. If you could have the universe and all it's galaxy's in a bath, this product will most defently send you on your way! It has a mixture of vetivierve and cedar wood. Comes in at £3.95.
Soaps

Apandapand -

A beautiful looking and smelling soap the apandapanda is full of grapefruit to give a refreshing wake me up kick to it. Most defiantly a soap to use in the morning!

Maypole soap - This has such bright colours and surprisingly has a minty smell to it, sort of reminded me of wriglys chewing gum! £3.10/ per 100g
It smelt so good. Really nice & sweet
Serendipity soap; This was one of my favourites, such a lovely smell of French lavender and chamomile, perfect for a night bath! £3.40/ per 100g
Outback mate - With a blend of eucalyptus, lemongrass and peppermint it is a refreshing morning type of soap in my opinion. Very fresh and a get up and go kind of smell. £3.40/ per 100g
Perfect for the bathroom! :)
How cute are these little guys!! The golden handshake is a hand mask perfect for tired, sore, cracked an dehydrated hands. With avocado, argon and caster oil it really revitalises hard working hands. It's also packed with fresh cupuacu and murumuru butters that will get in all the small places! We was given a lovely hand treatment with one of these after we had used the coconut hand scrub. It's safe to say my hands felt as if they had been brought back to live again! Have a bowl that is buck enough to fit your hands in and fill with enough warm water to fully cover the product and stir until the water thickens. Enter hands for around 15 to let the product really work it's magic.  £3.95p/ 20g

My favourite product of the night! The pink flamingo bubble bar! A fruit cocktail inspired fragrance, it's an all rounder for me, such an eye catcher it just shouted to me straight away! Infused with rosewood and sexy ylang ylang.  £5.95 each
Milky bath - This was a favourite of one of the members of staff who gave us a demo of this bubble bar, really bubbly and a creamy appearance it smelled so nice with it's fairly traded cocoa butter. £3.75p per item.

Look how creamy it is! Absolute heaven!
The green bubbleroon - This is one of my personal favourite smelling products. Citrus scented and beautiful! Mixed with bergamot oil which actuall sticks the halfs together!
Shea butter is also contained in to give your skin that silky velvet feel. It's not as bubbly as the other bars, but it does make the water that extra softening.

It's safe to say I had a fabulous time at Lush Warrington and a big thank you to the team for putting on such a wonderful event!

Lush cosmetics summer 2015 collection @ Blogger event part one

Hi guys & dolls 💜

Yesterday I was lucky enough to be invited to the Lush Warrington blogging event they held there for the release of the new summer products & to see the oxford exclusives that are now in store!

We were given a very warm welcome by the staff, who had set up all ready for our arrival. After a lovely glass (or two) of Buck's Fizz we started off with making our very own bubble bar!
We started off by putting two ingredients    (I cannot remember for the life of me) into the bowl and giving it a good mix.

We then added some coca butter (I Think) which was all lumpy so we had to really crumble it to avoid any large lumps, (my hand cramped up 🙈)

Lastly, we mixed in some colouring stuff which smelt amazing and was so bright, it instantly started to change the colourless bath melt. Obviously I managed to get some up my arm! The colour nearly matched my hair! 💜
Mix mix mix!!
You can still see some lumps we couldn't get rid off 😂
After giving it all a good mix, we were left with a huge mount of soft bubble bar, which looks a bit like a mixture of the comforter & creamy candy. We each took a portion each and made it into which ever shape we wanted, with different coloured flowers to decorate.

I attempted a crescent moon which looked okay-ish when I had finished, but when I got home I found that it had fallen apart as it was still really soft and needed 48 hours to set.

Safe to say I really enjoyed myself doing this!

Anyone else made a product from Lush before?
